This morning was....interesting. Overslept so didn't wake up until 8:30 which is when I'm supposed to be at least halfway to school, and few seconds later I get a phone call. James had miraciously squirted Super Glue into his EYE. I just wonder how hard he was squeezing the tube when trying to open it so that it squrited like that, or how close he was holding it to his face. Just the last thing you'd expect to hear right when you first wake up.

Donating blood was fun today, or rather attempting to donate blood. I was coherced into signing up yesterday, and being the nice person I am I actually showed up after my test today. Well, after going through the medical history stuff to make sure you're eligable I go up to get blood drawn. First they were having problems with the chair because I was too short, so I had to sit like way up. Then I had to change chairs because they couldn't find a vein in my right arm but they could in my left. Then the blood pressure thingamajig didn't work so they had to get another one. Finally they could stick the huge ass needle in my arm which hurt like a bitch....since the lady did it wrong and made a hemotoma! Or that's what I overheard as like two other people came to take out the nedlee out and they liked superstrapped gauze to my arm so that I didn't spurt blood everywhere.

So since it's against protocl to stick people twice and I kinda didn't want to go through the pain again in the first place, they couldn't take my blood but at least I know my blood pressure's good and I don't have an iron deficency! Oh and a free t-shirt that's 3 sizes too big. I called my mom and asked what a hemotoma was, apparently it's another name for a bruise or, which is probably what happened, blood leaks out of the needle and forms a big bump! Or something like that if I understood her correctly. :D Here's to hopefully not fainting on the way home!

This morning on the way to school, I died a little inside. Someone actually had a liscence plate that said 'Otaku'.
